چکیده
The safety of the gas transmission infrastructure is one main concerns for operating companies. Common pipelines’ tightness control tedious and time-consuming. development new methods highly desirable. This paper focuses on applications air-borne inspections natural pipelines. goal this study to test an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), equipped with a remote sensing methane detector, leak detection from pipeline network. Many studies use UAV laser detectors have been presented in literature. These include experiments mainly artificial sources simulating leaks. real leakage pipeline. at first monitored source determine conditions further experiments. Then selected section pipelines were conducted. measurement data, along spatial coordinates, collected analyzed using machine learning methods. analysis enabled identification groups spatially correlated regions which increased concentrations. Investigations flight altitude influence accuracy measurements also carried out. A range between 4 m 15 was depicted as optimal data collection inspections. However, results field showed that areas concentrations are significantly more difficult identify, though they still noticeable. indicate lower altitudes flights should be chosen. monitoring can used tool preliminary selection potentially untight sections.

Mid-infrared dual-gas sensor for simultaneous detection of methane and ethane using a single continuous-wave interband cascade laser.
A continuous-wave (CW) interband cascade laser (ICL) based mid-infrared sensor system was demonstrated for simultaneous detection of atmospheric methane (CH4) and ethane (C2H6). A 3.337 µm CW ICL with an emitting wavenumber range of 2996.0-3001.5 cm-1 was used to simultaneously target two absorption lines, C2H6 at 2996.88 cm...
متن کاملUAV attitude Sensor Fault Detection Based On Fuzzy Logic and by Neural Network Model Identification
Fault detection has always been important in aviation systems to prevent many accidents. This process is possible in different ways. In this paper, we first identify the longitudinal axis plane model using neural network approach. Then based on the obtained model and using fuzzy logic, the aircraft status sensor fault detection unit was designed. The simulation results show that the fault detec...
متن کاملA Portable Laser Photoacoustic Methane Sensor Based on FPGA
A portable laser photoacoustic sensor for methane (CH₄) detection based on a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) is reported. A tunable distributed feedback (DFB) diode laser in the 1654 nm wavelength range is used as an excitation source. The photoacoustic signal processing was implemented by a FPGA device. A small resonant photoacoustic cell is designed. The minimum detection limit (1σ) of 1...
متن کاملGraphene Oxide/Polyaniline-Based Multi Nano Sensor for Simultaneous Detection of Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Ethanol and Ammonia Gases
In this study, a multi nanosensor was fabricated for the simultaneous detection of carbon dioxide, methane, ethanol, and ammonia gases, and its electrochemical response to various concentrations of these gases were investigated. In order to fabricate this multi nanosensor, in the first phase, the Graphene-Oxide/Polyaniline (GO/PANI) nanocomposite was synthesized. Chemical ...
